I had a blast with this year’s Sutcliff Swap - I’m sad it only happens every two years, though! Looking forward to participating again in 2022!
The challenge entries for this year can be found here on AO3, for anyone who wants to read them, and I think by now I’ve read all of the stories from the fandoms I know. My gift that I received was Darkling they went under the lonely night by
mossgreen , which is a beautiful, well-written little story about Esca’s POV of events in the first part of Eagle of the Ninth up until he and Marcus go to the north. I wrote The Centurion’s Hunting Hound for FrostOnGalway, which is Esca’s POV of the end of the book! I thought it was kind of fun that both stories made such an unintentionally perfect bookend to each other :D
Anyway, hope you enjoy all the new Sutcliff stories we have, if you’re interested :D
