This is from my WIP for The Old Guard, "Some Similar Experience." This was pretty fun to write haha XD


Andrea loved cold weather like this. She loved taking long walks when it was cold, foggy, and rainy, and so the weather in Scotland was basically perfect.

Behind her, Joseph and Nicholas were cuddled up together under Joseph's jacket as they walked, and Andrea rolled her eyes and laughed fondly. After so many centuries, they still couldn't handle the cold. As sad as she'd be to leave, she knew they'd both be happy to go somewhere warmer.

Next to her, Sebastien laughed a little too, and Andrea put an arm around his shoulders and immediately felt his arm around her waist. She grinned, pulling him closer, and told him about the plan she'd come up with to get some friends of hers to help the four of them get to mainland Europe...
