End of the School Year

I just finished my last class of the semester today! Now I just have to make it through finals week, & then I'm leaving for three weeks to study abroad in Italy! I've been taking a class to prepare for the study abroad, & honestly it's been pretty stressful for me & I've had some trouble with my anxiety, but now that the prep is almost over I'm able to focus more on the excitement of getting to go to Italy. Still very much feeling scared though. I'm hoping I can overcome my fears & really enjoy this, & maybe it'll help me to be braver in the future!

Any words of encouragement would be much appreciated <3

Xoxo

It'll be amazing! (I've never been to Italy and I am WELL JEALOUS, to use a Nineties phrase.) Take loadsa pics and have fun!

(And it isn't quite like the Italy of 2770auc; there's more ruins in our version!)

Good luck! I would have been anxious about studying abroad too. I'm not sure if it's the being in a strange place or the actual coursework that's causing more anxiety, but either way, I would say that 3 weeks will go by really quickly, even if something goes wrong, it won't be the end of the world, and that relaxing, accepting you can't control everything, and just focusing on the moment and not worrying about what might happen will help.

Good luck! It's going to be great, I'm sure of it, and you'll do brilliant in finals week!

Yep! And I'm not sure when things like the Colosseum fell into disrepair in our world, but all the old buildings are still in use in 2770auc. The Colosseum seen from the outside has a lot of glass, marble and granite, and the seating's all been redone...

Pretty much Ancient Rome is still standing and modern buildings use a lot of the same style... with a more modern twist where appropriate!
