Candy Hearts Exchange 2023 Letter
Dear Candy Hearts Creator,
Hello hello! Thank you so much for agreeing to create something for me for this exchange :D I love the Chocolate Box exchange, and I was delighted to see that there would still be an exchange with a similar theme for Valentine's Day. I'm sure I'll love whatever you create for me, so just treat this letter as a suggestion! If you need more ideas, you can find my past ChocBox letters in my "dear creator letter" tag. Happy creating!

- (Non-canonical or unrequested) Major character death.
- Unrequested trans/gender/identity headcanons.
- Miscarriages or sexual assault as dramatic backstory.
- Current events and modern world politics, including COVID and pandemics in general.
- A/B/O dynamics.
- Kink/smut related: scat, watersports, mpreg, incest, underage (ie, under 18)
Likes:
- I love pretty much all genres: fluff, hurt/comfort, smut, angst, character exploration pieces, more plot focused stories... Feel free to mix and match as you see fit.
- Happy or hopeful endings are preferable, but if it doesn't fit the theme of the story, sad or bittersweet endings are good too.
- Characters having quiet, soft moments — heart-to-heart talks, hand holding, touching foreheads together, cuddling... !!
- Characters being vulnerable with each other!! Maybe one is sick or injured and the other helps them, maybe there is some kind of confession, maybe they're being emotionally vulnerable with each other... Whatever you want to do!
- Supernatural occurrences or ghost stories.
- For smut, I'd love to read everything from cuddly sweet vanilla sex, rough sex, consensual BDSM/kink, all the way to dub-con and non-con. I definitely have preferences for certain pairings, though. I love kissing during sex, neck/shoulder/chest kissing, characters being desperate for each other (even if they're rivals having hate sex), one character holding the other down, hair pulling, scratching each other...
- Characters pining for each other and eventually confessing their love.
- Established relationships and domesticity.
- Devotion/Loyalty kink!!
- Firsts: first kisses, first dates, first times having sex (either with a certain partner or losing virginity), etc.
- Canon divergent AUs/Everyone lives AUs/Supernatural AUs.
- Many of my fandoms have historical settings/themes, so I'd love if you wanted to include historical details in your story. Those are completely optional though, and don't feel any pressure to do this; I'm mainly here for the characters and their stories, historical detail is just a bonus!
- Also, since this is a Valentine's themed exchange, feel free to use the setting of Valentine's Day as a prompt on it's own!
Frontier Wolf, The Mummy, The Old Guard, X-Files
Frontier Wolf:
Hilarion/Lucius, Alexios/Lucius, Alexios/Julius Gavros
I really love the rarepairs of this fandom! There's so much good potential for canon divergent or post-canon fic, and I'd love to see missing scenes between any of these pairings. Also, if you write something involving Lucius I'd prefer if you make it a fix-it of his canonical death or set it before his death and not mention it.
Anything exploring or involving the chararcters' backstories would also be wonderful! Maybe how Hilarion and Lucius met? What did they think of Gavros as a commander? What has Gavros' career/life been like? What about Alexios's backstory?
The Mummy:
Ardeth/Evie/Rick
These guys are my OT3!! Anything about their backstories would be fascinating, as would a post-canon story about their adventures together. I'd love to see artifacts related Egyptian mythology or history if that's something you're interested in, but if not you can totally make things up!
I also love anything about the past lives stuff from the 2nd movie! Evie was an Egyptian princess, so were Rick and Ardeth her Medjai bodyguards perhaps? So much good potential!
The Old Guard:
Nile/Joe/Nicky, Andy/Quynh, Andy/Nile
Competence kink and training/sparring as foreplay is always amazing and it would be perfect for any of these pairings! I'd love more of a friends-with-benefits situation for Nile/Joe/Nicky (with lots of platonic tenderness and love pls) and romance for Andy/Quynh and Andy/Nile. Exploration of any historical time period for Andy/Quynh would be wonderful - these characters have so much backstory to explore and anything to do with that would be so cool!! Also if you want to do an AU where Nile is an older immortal, I'd love to see her in historical settings as well!

This is not one of my usual fandoms, but I've been rewatching TXF again lately and getting into it again, so I thought it would be fun to request! My favorite episodes are always the ones where something ridiculous and crazy happens, especially if Scully is shown clear evidence of aliens/supernatural activity and ends up siding with Mulder's wild theories (possibly with Mulder being smug), so I'd love to get a story with that sort of theme! Plus Mulder/Scully being cute while being a badass team!
